Konservasi gigi adalah bidang spesialistik yang bertujuan untuk melakukan perawatan gigi serta mempertahankan gigi selama mungkin di dalam rongga mulut, sehingga estetika dan fungsi kunyah gigi dapat kembali normal. Perawatannya meliputi penambalan pada gigi yang berlubang, perawatan syaraf pada gigi yang sudah mati atau sisa akar, pemutihan gigi, perbaikan estetika pada gigi dan lain sebagainya.
